Tds open roads7/28/2023 ![]() A more in-depth detail of the event activities can be found via the link on each event.ĭungeons And Dragons Event (18 March 2023 to Unknown)Ī event revolving around the movie Dungeons And Dragons:Honor Among Thieves. Below is a listing of the events and a brief description. It's almost impossible to find straight petrodiesel in certain areas due to intensive lobbying from the ag industry, but thanks to the same lobbyists, it is prohibited by federal law in the US to void a vehicle warranty just due to the use of biodiesel, regardless of what it says on any label - it would have to be proven that the biodiesel alone was the specific cause of any failure.A variety of events have occurred over the history of the game. It does produce more NOx, so you may see some increase in DEF consumption. Biodiesel is both a better solvent and a better lubricant than petrodiesel - it can free up gunk that regular diesel wouldn't, and that will end up in filters, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing so long as scheduled maintenance is performed. Gas_prices.jpgIf I was running B20 all the time I might think about changing the oil and filters a bit more often, but other than that wouldn't worry too much about getting B5 - B20 when it's the most convenient (or only) option. The manual and warning label by the tank intake clearly state not to use diesel with more than 5%. until I got to the pump and discovered that it was biodiesel (5-20% to be precise). Made an attempt to make my first TDS (OpenRoads) purchase today and was very excited to find this decent price (huge discount off inflated prices) on a major highway along my route. There's a bit of a comparison of a couple different diesel fuel discounts from November 2021 here I'm considering the TCS (TransConnect) service, but it looks like you need to preload your account instead of a direct debit/credit card transaction. ![]() ![]() It looks like the TSD / OpenRoad app (Android) doesn't have a 'route' feature anymore - and quite a few negative reviews. Some Costco's also have diesel, but I haven't found an easy way to find either Walmart or Costco gas prices without going to each store's webpage. My local Walmart has diesel at a lower price than most other stations, with the "Walmart Pay" app, they take off another $0.05/gal on diesel. 5 days later, still waiting on the rebate. I tried GasBuddy which notified me of a "flash sale" that would pay me back $0.18 per gallon if I went to a specific station. I see it also has a 'route' option to find stations along a route instead of a 150 mile radius. Still, at $0.50 discount is pretty good if I'm in the area. The posted $0.97/gal discount is on a price of $5.50/gal, but you can find local stations selling diesel at $5.00. Just signed up for Mudflap, but the closest station is 25 miles away and the next closest is 300 miles. I'll post again once I've had a chance to try the TSD and Gas Buddy cards. Worth mentioning here that I've seen a Walmart gas station advertise $4.50 but I had a full tank so I didn't try it. In theory they have discounts of "up to $0.25." They also have a membership card I signed up for and haven't received or used yet. In theory they also have $0.40-0.60 discounts.įinally, I signed up for Gas Buddy which is useful to get a sense of prices in an area. I also signed up for the TSD / MyOpenRoads card but haven't received it yet (they are backlogged). ![]() Will definitely use it again but it's mostly useful on longer trips because participating fuel stations are spread out (mostly along highways). I recently made my first purchase with Mudflap for $4.60 and it was very easy and smooth. In my area most gas stations charge $5 at the time of this post, and on major highways at truck stops and such I've seen it listed for $5.25 and even more. I want to share some resources I found for buying cheaper diesel.
